We quote three parts separately: the app patients use, the work that keeps their records private and logged, and the connection into your hospital's record system. The last two usually cost more than the first. The privacy work is what the US health privacy law, HIPAA, requires, plus the business associate agreement that makes us accountable for any patient data we handle.

Building takes around four to six months. What sets your launch date is the hospital's own security review and the paperwork that makes us accountable for patient data. That queue is their calendar, not ours, and it can add weeks. We start it in week one and build alongside it, rather than promising a date somebody else controls.

Yes, and most clients should. Pick one journey, such as booking an appointment and a video consultation, and leave the rest. What genuinely cannot wait for version two is patient data protection: encryption, proper login, and a record of who opened which file. Adding that later means rebuilding the app, so it goes in first.

Nothing we could put on a public page would tell you much; the useful version happens in conversation. What carries between medical projects is the careful part: designing around clinical records, keeping an access trail an auditor accepts, and speaking the data format hospitals share in, FHIR, on their terms and their timetable.

Most start with the same core: appointment booking, secure messaging with a clinician, video consultations, test results, repeat prescriptions and reminders. Behind that sits a login strong enough for medical data and a feed from your record system, usually Epic or Cerner, so nobody retypes anything. We will tell you which of those earn a place in release one.

Because we take the unglamorous half seriously. You own the code, the hosting accounts and the hospital connection credentials from day one. After launch we work to an agreed support window, so if the records feed fails before morning clinic, somebody picks up. We will also tell you when a feature is not worth building.
