Two things drive the number. First, money moving between three parties: taken from a buyer, held while the order is in flight, paid out to a seller, with refunds in the middle. That is usually built on Stripe Connect. Second, search that actually finds things, which needs a real search service rather than a database query. The rest is ordinary app work.
