Yes. Before committing we read the dependency list and build the app from a clean machine. A project written in TypeScript, which catches whole classes of mistake before release, with versions pinned and sitting a release or two behind, is straightforward. One stuck several major versions back, or half-migrated off the Expo toolchain, is closer to a rebuild and we will say so.
